If you have never been camping, then you really are missing out on a great way to spend quality time with the family. It doesn’t matter if it’s a campground in close proximity or one that is hours away. Of course you want it to be clean and safe, but other than that the most important part is being together. Even the type of camping equipment you own is not that important. As many parents realize, their time with the kids is limited by work, so taking advantage of a camping trip when you can just makes sense.

Ok, so you have never really enjoyed the “wilderness warrior braving the elements” kind of camping. It’s ok, there are compromises. Next time you have to get out of the city, consider renting an RV and staying at an RV park rather than the tent and sleeping bag type of camping you have done before. Sure you want to rough it a little, but there is no need to go overboard right?
